An intense love for Veruca Salt is how it started, starting a small fan
site called “The Volcano Lair,” mostly for the music videos.
Gradually later evolving into something larger with b-sides and more content,
the fan site was of the last of the Veruca Salt fan sites after the many
classic 90's sites were closed down. After evolving into several different
stages, the Volcano Lair became VerucaSalt.net thriving in mass audio
and video downloading.
Not long after, another fan site emerged Veruca Slut.com, which was mainly
and mostly for bootleg show audio and video. Thus the bootlegs got some
serious attention and had many fan contributions resulting in a mass amount
of bootleg audio shows. After realizing the potential both sites could
gain from each other in a joint salt effort so became the recent Veruca
Slut.
Specializing in audio/video, interviews, bootlegs, one of the last and
largest Veruca salt fan sites in existence. Veruca Slut hopes to continue
to bring you more content including show bootlegs, video and a comprehensive
site to all things Veruca Salt.
Veruca Slut would like to thank everyone that contributed. The biggest
and most sincere thank you goes out to all incarnations of Veruca Salt,
old and new, but most importantly, Louise Post as without her this site
wouldn't exist, so rock !
